01
A place to make a start.
You do not need a polished pitch to have a useful conversation. A clear introduction and an interest in the person you are meeting are a good beginning.
Tell someone what you do, ask what they are working on, and look for a practical way to stay in touch.
02
Keep the conversation going.
After a gathering, follow up on something specific you discussed. Share the promised resource, make an agreed introduction or suggest a short conversation if there is a reason to continue.
